Routeways Beckly Centre

Beckly is a Routeways project where disabled children and young people can enjoy positive and inclusive fun social activities in a friendly, caring and supportive environment at our accessible premises located on the edge of beautiful Radford Park and Radford Lake, Plymstock.

*Beckly offers regular weekend and evening activities throughout the year with additional weekday activities during all school holidays offering opportunities to join in small groups with a wide range of play, social and practical activities both at Beckly and in the wider community. Catering for a broad spectrum of additional or special requirements, disabilities and conditions. Care includes personal care and one to one support for children and young people ages from 6 upwards.

 *Youth Club offering trips out, social opportunities, on-site activities (movie nights, games night, disco, recycled fashion shows, pamper sessions) for young people with a disability aged 14 – 24. Thursday 7 – 9 – (alternate weeks at the Beckly Centre and Devonport Park Activity Centre) £3 per session MUST BE BOOKED at https://bookwhen.com/routeways

* Radford Rascals offers after school sessions for children with disabilities aged 5 years to 8 years supporting children to build positive relationships between peers and adults. This project is part of Plymouth City Council’s support services for disabled children. Access to the project is managed through Plymouth City Council Social Care. 

*Little Seeds is a new group starting on 31st October offering friendly, inclusive stay and play gardening activities and more for all under 5’s and their family/ carer Thursday 9.30-11.30 £3 per family 

*Volunteers offering opportunities to people over 18 years old to get involved in a community project helping with various jobs in the gardens and buildings. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided! Contact the Beckly Centre on 01752 484433

The Beckly Centre provides a whole range of inclusive, accessible opportunities to families and individuals in a wonderful setting on the edge of Radford Park. Offering support to children, young people and their parents and carers. The sessions are family-friendly and fun, affordable and accessible offering a wide variety of opportunities. The sessions are run by wonderful staff and volunteers who are both qualified and experienced in a range of areas.
